Introduction

Nping is an open source tool for network packet generation, responseanalysis and response time measurement. Nping can generate networkpackets for a wide range of protocols, allowing users full control over protocol headers. While Nping can be used as a simple pingutility to detect active hosts, it can also be used as a raw packet generatorfor network stack stress testing, ARP poisoning, Denial of Service attacks,route tracing, etc. Nping's novel echo mode lets users see how packets change in transit between the source and destination hosts. Downloading and Installing Nping

Download Nping for Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X as part of Nmap from the Nmapdownload page. Source code can be downloaded there as well.

For the very latest code, checkout Nmap from our SVN repository (Nping-specific code is in the nping subdirectory) as described here. Use the normal steps to compile Nmap and Nping will be compiled along with it.

As you probably already know, Youku,Tudou doesn’t work like we wish it did when we are not living out in Mainland China as the internet is blocked by the ‘Great Fireware'(GFW), which known as the China’s advanced online censorship system.

Not only Youku, but LeTV, iQiyi, QQ TV, Sohu, QQ Music, NetEase Music and so on, all blocked by GFW, can’t be accessed except with Mainland China IP address.

So it’s difficult that expats watch many popular dramas, Show, and moives from China or US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France or any other country on Youku outside China.

When you access to Youku without Mainland China IP address, you will receive the message ‘sorry this video can only be streamed within mainland china’ like this one:

Luckily, we can use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to spoof our location as the Mailand China IP to streaming videos on Youku when not in China.

●　Unblock Youku for Chrome/Firefox

It maybe the easiest way to bypass Youku block is to use the Unblock Youku extension for Chrome if you are not very technically-minded.
